How the comps tier list is built
Where the data comes from
We pull real ranked Teamfight Tactics matches. Ladder players are sampled across regions and ranks, their recent games are read and filtered to the current set and patch, and every comp that appears is aggregated. For each comp we track the average placement, the top 4 rate, the win rate, and how many games it was played.
How the rating works
Each comp gets a tier from three numbers measured together. The average placement has to be low enough, while the top 4 rate and the win rate must clear rising thresholds. The strongest comps that pass the highest bar land in S+ and S, the rest fall to A, B, C, and finally D when they miss the cutoffs.
These comp tiers are a snapshot of the current meta and move with patches, balance changes, and how much data each comp has. Treat them as a guide for the ladder overall, not a guarantee for a single lobby or item set.
