How a match works
- Each round has two phases. In the deploy phase you buy, sell, merge and place Troops. In the battle phase Troops fight on their own.
- The shop shows 3 Troops at a time. Up to 5 Troops wait on the bench, and the team on the board grows by one each round, from 2 to 6 Troops.
- If you lose a battle, you lose health for every enemy Troop still alive, and the enemy Ruler counts too. Buildings and summoned Troops do not count.
- The last 10 seconds of a battle are Frenzy Time, all Troops attack twice as fast.
- The last player with health left wins the match. First and second place both count as a win.
How merging works
- Two identical Troops of the same star level merge on their own into the next level. Every merge gives +1 Elixir.
- The shop pool is shared by all players and holds 8 copies of each card. If rivals collect the same Troop, there may be too few copies left for your 4 star.

Traits
- Every Troop has a Trait. A Trait switches on when enough Troops with it stand on the board, and each next step makes the bonus stronger.
Rulers and quests
- Before the match you pick a Ruler. Each Ruler has its own ability and a quest with three steps.
- Every quest step gives a Quest Orb. The first Orb holds 3 Elixir and Equipment, the second holds 6 Elixir and stronger Equipment, the third adds +1 team size and a 3 star Troop.
How to get Buildings and Supers
- Supers are handed out at the start of the battle, you cannot buy them in the shop. A Super can be sold for Elixir.
- Buildings mostly come from Orbs. The Building Training Modifier gives an Orb with a random 2 star Building.
- A Building that survives the battle does not add damage to the loser.
Tips to win
- Do the Ruler quest first. Orbs give Elixir, Equipment, a strong Troop and an extra team slot.
- Buy Troops that share a Trait. A team with active Traits beats the same number of unrelated Troops.
- Merge early. A merged Troop is stronger than its two copies, frees a board slot and pays back Elixir.
- Watch what rivals collect. The pool is shared, so a Troop that two players chase rarely reaches 4 stars.
- Read the Modifier before the first round. It changes which plan works best in this match.
