How the item tier list is built

Where the data comes from

We pull real ranked Teamfight Tactics matches from the Riot Games API. Ladder players are sampled across regions and ranks, their recent games are read and filtered to the current set and patch, and every item that appears is aggregated. For each item we track the average placement, the top 4 rate, and how often it is built.

How the rating works

Items are ranked by how the boards that hold them actually finish. A lower average placement and a higher top 4 rate push an item up the list, while weaker results move it down. Usage is shown alongside so you can tell a strong niche item from a broadly used staple.

These item results are a snapshot of the current meta and move with patches and balance changes. The best item still depends on your carry, your board, and the components you find.
