Helldivers 2 Weapon Tier List (Updated March 2025)
This is a tier list for the weapons in Helldivers 2. The weapons are ranked from S Tier to C Tier, based on their overall effectiveness. This tier list is based on my own personal experience and opinions, so your mileage may vary. I hope this helps!

S Tier
Quasar Cannon (Stratagem)
This energy weapon fires a massive laser blast that can decimate enemies with ease. It is perfect for taking out large groups of enemies or destroying strong fortifications
Railgun (Stratagem)
This single-shot weapon can be charged up for a devastating attack that can one-shot most enemies. It is a bit slow to fire and reload, but it is worth the wait
A Tier
SG-8S Slugger
This shotgun is a classic for a reason. It is powerful and versatile, and can be used effectively at both short and medium ranges
SG-8P Punisher Plasma
This plasma shotgun is a more specialized weapon than the Slugger, but it is even more powerful against armored enemies
LAS-5 Scythe
This laser rifle is a great all-around weapon that is effective against all types of enemies
CB-9 Explosive Crossbow
This crossbow fires explosive bolts that are perfect for taking out groups of enemies or destroying structures
AR-23P Liberator Penetrator
This assault rifle is a great choice for long-range engagements. It is accurate and powerful, and can even penetrate some armor
AR-23C Liberator Concussive
This assault rifle fires concussive rounds that can stun enemies, making them easy targets. It is a good choice for crowd control
PLAS-101 Purifier
This flamethrower is perfect for clearing out areas of enemies. It is also effective against some types of structures
SG-225 Breaker
This grenade launcher is a great all-around weapon that can be used to attack enemies at all ranges. It is also effective against structures
B Tier
R-36 Eruptor
This bolt-action rifle fires explosive rounds that are perfect for taking out large groups of enemies or destroying structures
R-63 Diligence
This semi-automatic rifle is a good all-around weapon that is effective against most enemies
BR-14 Adjudicator
This burst-fire rifle is a good choice for medium-range engagements. It is accurate and powerful, but it can be a bit difficult to control
SMG-72 Pummeler
This SMG is a good choice for close-quarters combat. It is powerful and has a high rate of fire, but it is not very accurate
SMG-37 Defender
This SMG is a more versatile option than the Pummeler. It is not as powerful, but it is more accurate and has a longer range
AR-23P Liberator Penetrator
This assault rifle is a good choice for long-range engagements. It is accurate and powerful, and can even penetrate some armor
C Tier
Knight
This melee weapon is only useful in very specific situations. It is powerful, but it is very slow and difficult to use
Sickle
This melee weapon is similar to the Knight, but it is even slower and more difficult to use
Scorcher
This flamethrower is less effective than the Purifier. It is still a good weapon for clearing out areas of enemies, but it is not as versatile
Arc Blitzer
This plasma weapon is not very effective against most enemies. It is only useful against certain types of structures
